Investing in a commercial coffee
machine could pay dividends for restaurants looking to boost
their income, as many people in the UK feel they are entitled to a
cup of coffee when they want one.
That is according to Tim Dowling, writing in the Guardian, who
said that despite the pressure on many people's finances, coffee is
not something they are prepared to forfeit to save money.
"Decent coffee, not so long ago a rarity in Britain, is
something we now regard as an entitlement. I know I do," he
stated.
Mr Dowling went on to extol the virtues of a cup of good coffee,
claiming that it can have anti-depressive properties.
"It may be an expensive hot drink, but it's also the poor man's
antidepressant," the writer added.
Hugh Laurie, star of the drama series House, told the Daily
Telegraph recently that he is a coffee fanatic and cannot get
enough of it.
