The standard of coffee in the UK has improved
dramatically in the last few years, cafes considering investing in
commercial
coffee machines will be interested to hear.
That is according to Australian chef Bill Granger, who told
thewest.com.au that food in general has come on leaps and bounds
since he first arrived in the UK more than a decade ago.
He stated that coffee was "absolutely shocking" when he first
touched down and while he himself is not a massive coffee lover,
the culinary expert noted there have been some huge improvements in
recent years.
"It has changed hugely and now it's good, or it's much better,
anyway," Granger told the news provider.
He went on to add that Britain has enjoyed a food revolution in
the last two decades and is closer to Australian cuisine.
Actor Hugh Laurie told the Daily Telegraph recently that he is
fanatical about coffee.
