The new N-Viro cup from FLAVIA® is an
environmentally friendly alternative to traditional paper cups.
In the UK work place, millions of cups of hot drinks are served
from vending machines in plastic and paper cups. Normal paper cups
contain an oil-based plastic lining that prevents them from being
recycled. Finding a more environmentally acceptable alternative has
been a difficult task, but at last the UK's first eco-friendly
paper cup is now available.
FLAVIA's NEW N-Viro cup is lined with a bio-plastic derived
from corn which means the cup can be fully
composted in commercial facilities.
When placed in commercial composting facilities and combined with
organic materials, they are broken down into compost that can
be used to add nutrients back into soil.
The launch of the N-Viro cup means that staff and
visitors can now enjoy the same great tasting
FLAVIA® beverages whilst ensuring that the environment is not
harmed.
The new FLAVIA® N-Viro paper cups are available in packs of

that collects and recycles polystyrene (plastic) cups and other
waste. Together, we are working to develop the UK's first one-stop
solution for all hot drinks recycling needs which aims to reduce
the use of valuable natural resources.
