Autobar UK Limited achieves STS* certification for its new Woodford
Green Distribution Centre, for their wholesale and distribution
operations.
The audit was carried out against the Code of Practice and
Technical Standard for Food Processors and Suppliers to the Public
Sector for the storage, wholesale and distribution of dried
beverage ingredients.
STS certification has similar standards to CMI approval but
uses a different accrediting body. STS is the preferred auditor of
the NHS for its suppliers.
The audit covered many key areas including: Food Safety Management
System, Establishment Design and Facilities, Personnel: Health
& Hygiene Requirements, Product Control, Production Control and
Transportation.
